Metro Blooms has always recognized and appreciated the valuable resource, the commitment and energy of gardeners.

Thousands of Minneapolis gardeners have made our boulevards bloom and enhanced our neighborhoods with beautiful residential gardens for twenty years. This is the first year that both Minneapolis and all metro area gardeners have been able to join together as partners in our mission. We are a new membership organization!

Now, Metro Blooms is supporting the creation of eco-friendly rain gardens by becoming a nationally recognized gardening education resource. Rain garden workshops have become extraordinarily popular. Our rain garden education program teaches new and experienced gardeners the best ways to help keep our urban watersheds clean, our soils healthy and our neighborhoods beautiful for generations to come.
