Doris Phillips

Vice Chair
Doris has lived in the Fulton neighborhood in Southwest Minneapolis for nearly 20 years. She is a passionate gardener, fondly remembering her grandfather’s vegetable garden and her grandmother’s flower garden—the hollyhocks, zinnias and ferns—to name just a few. She has spent her career in market research and is currently working at SUPERVALU, Inc. in Consumer Insights. She enjoys reading (murder mysteries, cookbooks and gardening books), walking, cooking and baking, planning her gardens over the long winter months, and, of course, gardening. From the way she talks, people think she has a huge garden, but, alas, she only has the back 40 (feet not acres). She is a member of the Blooms Day committee and chair of the Raingarden committee.
