John Uban

John Uban is a Landscape Architect and a Principal at Bonestroo. He is the past Chair of the Minneapolis Committee on Urban Environment (CUE), which is currently being integrated into Metro Blooms. Mr. Uban is currently the Chair of the Minneapolis Tree Advisory Commission. Over the past several decades he has helped organize the annual Minneapolis Arbor Day celebrations. Mr. Uban is an H.W.S. Cleveland Visiting Lecturer at the University of Minnesota, College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture and teaches design. He is a Landscape Architect member of the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geosciences, and Interior Design. He is also Faculty for Government Training Services for Land Planning and Design Curricula. As a strong advocate for urban trees, Mr. Uban promotes planting trees and native forbs as a key component to Minneapolis’s green infrastructure.
